BLISS RATING: ★★★★+ “Vampires are not that scary, Master Yoh. On the other hand, humans can be scarier.” –  Quote from 1000 Years Old Perhaps the above quote is a truism and is more meaningful than realized. And in a sense this series shows exactly that. Sometimes the actions of humans are way worse than…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★★ “If you understood love, you would never hurt someone else’s love.” –  Quote from Deep Night This is a surprisingly and shockingly smart, articulate, and very well-done BL with loads of moral precepts that I was not expecting. In other words, I loved this series through and through. It is very adult-like…

BLISS RATING: ★+ “Although our story began and ended in the past, it doesn’t mean we can’t start over. We just have to give it a chance.” –  Quote from To Be Continued Admittedly, this series is perfectly named. It did seem to continue to go on and on endlessly. It was like being adrift…

BLISS RATING: ★★★ “This is the real thing. Acting that does not look like acting.” –  Quote from The Star There is honestly so much to unpack here in this short series that goes way beyond the plot or story. Reality and fiction merge together to make this series unique. As the abstract states, this…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★ “When elephants fight, the grass is inevitably crushed.” – Quote from Man Suang Indeed, this is a visually stunning movie that is certainly entertaining. With a big bag of popcorn (or snack of your choice) and a relaxing chair, you will thoroughly enjoy this movie. Filled with handsome men, a relatively interesting…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★★ “An uncertain love is a certain pain. He has no chance to make it right again.” – Quote from Night Dream Magnificent! This was the first word that came into my mind after watching this short charming and beautifully done BL. It is obviously patterned off the South Korean model and it…

BLISS RATING: ★+ “Let the past….teach you lessons.” – Quote from For Him This series is marred by something, and I wrestled with trying to find the most appropriate word to describe that. A word that is strong enough and powerful enough to impart the disconnect to what is happening in this series. Finally, I…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★★ “We’re gays in a society where straight men are dominant.” – Quote from Playboyy This series is an erotic roller-coaster ride through the world of gay love. If non-gay people want to know what it is like to be gay, then this is the series to watch. Not the idealized versions of…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★ “Everything happens for a reason. There’s no coincidence. It happens because it has already been destined by something called commitment.” – Quote from The Sign This is a stunningly beautiful production with a love story that is so entrancingly told that I honestly did not see two men in love but simply…

BLISS RATING: ★+ “My weaknesses have always been food and men – in that order.” – Quote from Dolly Parton Perhaps the quote above is a bit tongue-in-cheek for this series, but it aptly sums up what this series is all about. Food and men. And for those who do not know who Dolly Parton…
