BLISS RATING: ★+ “…just focus on loving the world, and I’ll focus on loving you.” – Quote from Revenged Love Watching this series is an experience. An inviting one. While it never felt deep and presented somewhat tongue-in-cheek, it is far more veiled than its flippant appearance. It has hidden messages everywhere, often disguised and…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★+ “You showed me love is not a weapon but armor.” – Quote from The Sparkle In Your Eye This is a surprisingly effective series that is deeply rooted in the realms of movie making and BL specifically. The more light that is shed on who represents characters in movies, specifically in the…

BLISS RATING: ★★ “Bitter always follows the sweet, especially when it comes to love. Especially when it comes to forbidden love.” – Karina Halle Just plain weird. Honestly, there are not many instances that give me the ‘willies’, but watching this series frankly did. Everything about this story left me disquiet. And the way the…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★+ “Life should be lived with purpose, and death should be meaningful.” – Quote from Jian Hun I downright fall under the spell of certain themes in either movies or series. BLISS RATING: ★★★★ “SALUTE to the unsung heroes who silently contributes to society. SALUTE to you and me who never give up in adversity.” – Quote from Golden Platform You can say a lot about series that come from China but the two noteworthy standouts in all of them are one, is that they have…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★+ “The sea of suffering is endless.  As long as you return to the shore in time, there will still be a brilliant sunset waiting for you.” – Quote from Fangs of Fortune Epic. Clear and simple, this is in a class all by itself. Granted, it might not be for everyone, and…

BLISS RATING: ★★★ “Perhaps this is the arrangement of fate. We can never be together.” – Quote from I’ll Turn Back This Time Admittedly, this is one of the most disconcerting BLs I have ever watched. While apocalyptic in nature, it does not quite end that way, although, given that it is from China, can…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★ “Observing someone’s room is the most direct way to understand them.” – Quote from Blue Canvas of Youthful Days Ah, shucks! This series started out so promising with fantastic characters. I was hooked and consumed by the story – initially. Who would not be? A rich kid trying to escape from his…

BLISS RATING: ★★★★★  “With both hands tightly clasped, I will not let go of this fate.” – Lines from a song in The Spirealm Yes, indeed I did watch this phenomenal series and, while not a gamer nor fully understanding much about the intricacies of this series, I treasured its theme and ambition. This exposé…
